2)    Why Are We Here on Planet Earth?   

All answers to this question are guesswork, conjecture, and  speculation in one form or another.   There are no clear answers.   

What We Aren't:   

Let's first see what we aren't.   Here are some commonly held beliefs that don't fit with either the physical or the circumstantial or the Biblical evidence:  

The belief the Earth is a one time-only ticket to somewhere else.  

The belief that we are our physical bodies

The belief that we are separate from Creator/God

The belief that we are separate form nature

The belief that we are separate from each other.  

The belief that we destroy our environment and not reap the consequences.

Pure Atheism:   

The second possibility to consider is atheism:   According to this belief, there was/is no plan regarding Creation.   There was/is no Creator/God.   Everything in the entire physical universe is function of random chance.   Humans are nothing more than clumps of physical matter that have magically acquired consciousness.   According to this theory, consciousness is a function of  (a product of) one's physical body.   When the body dies, human consciousness dies with it.   

There is no evidence to support this theory.   Like all other religious beliefs, it's unprovable.   And like all other religious beliefs, those who believe this theory must  accept it by a Leap of Faith. '

What We Most Likely Are:   

The evidence points toward the conclusion that life on Earth is some form of cosmic game -- a game about remembering that we are eternal, multi-dimensional beings  (aspects of Creator/God)  here on Earth -- a game about experiencing ourselves as multi-dimensional, God-like creators temporarily living in physical bodies  --  a game about mastering the art of consciously and intentionally creating our physical experiences.

3)   As a Human Species,  
   What Are Our Collective Long-term Goals?   

The long-term function of all human activity is participating in and the evolution of humanity.    As a species, we have spent centuries evolving our consciousness, and our knowledge,  and improving our personal, physical environments.   We have slowly and painfully evolved  from the level of survival to the level of creature comfort.    Each generation has had the blessings and the gifts of the prior generation.     For each generation, (in the technologically developed countries)  life has become easier than those who came before.    

Unfortunately, the current generation is reversing that trend.

4)   The Present Generation  
     The De-evolution of Humanity

Unfortunately, the present generation of humans is reversing humanity's long term, hard-won, positive, evolutionary trend, and doing so  "Big Time Bad."    This de-evolution of humanity has to be derailed and reversed NOW in order to avoid the pending disasters --  disasters of epic proportions.    

Short-Sighted &  Stupid:   How do you suppose future generations (if there are any) are going to view those of us living today?    Without using the "F word" or other socially unacceptable exsperlatives,  "short-sighted and stupid" is probably the most accurate.  "Religiously insane" is another title that fits, and Muslim extremists do not hold exclusive ownership of that title.   Although "sleepwalkers" is probably a better label for rapture believes, they, too,  could be said to fit also under the "religious insanity" umbrella.    

Where Are We Missing the Mark?   
     Just about everywhere.  Here are a few examples:  

    Arrogant Destruction our Natural Environment:   Humans are rapidly destroying what's left of our natural environment, including our vital forests.   At an incredibly rapid rate, the Earth's, irreplaceable, tropical rain forests are being turned into wastelands.   Today in the United States, with less than three percent (3%) of our virgin forests remaining, the chain saws are still running.   All over the Earth,  savannas and grass lands are also being rapidly destroyed.   For example, each year, in China, one thousand square miles of the Earth's surface in become uninhabitable desert.       Reference:   Global Climate Change '   

    Promoting Forced Motherhood:   In the face of an  already-in-process, ecological disaster equaled only by the extinction of the dinosaurs, (Global Climate Change) we have a bunch of mindless wood-be-do-gooders, (the hard-core, fundamentalist Christian)   denying its existence and forcing unwilling women to birth still more unwanted babies who will (simply by being) destroy even more of what's left of our environment.

And while denying the truth of Genesis 2:7 in their own sacred text,  their entire proposal is based on a completely ancient, fabricated,  unprovable fairytale about God performing an  instantaneous, supernatural transcendental magic '  act with every uniting human sperm and egg.

    Ignoring Overpopulation:     The overpopulation problem is simply being ignored.   Overpopulation is at the heart of every major problem facing humanity today.   Overpopulation is aggravating every one of these problems and making them much worse than they otherwise would be - - problems such as poverty,  starvation,  child abuse,  overcrowding,  crime,  drug abuse,  gang violence,  social unrest,  political violence,  wars,  rainforest depletion, environmental destruction,  ozone depletion,  air pollution,  water pollution,  resource depletion,  topsoil destruction,  global warming,  and species extinction.   Human overpopulation is causing a global environmental disaster of proportions not seen since the demise of the dinosaurs.     Reference:   Overpopulation ' 

    Global Terrorism:   If you want to talk about stupidity, the callus murder of anyone associated with anything not fundamentalist Islam  has to be at the top of the list.   How can one justify random mass murder, including  the murder of innocent women, children, babies, and including the callous murder of fellow Muslim true believes who just happen to be in the way at "murder time."

    The Criminally Insane:   Then there are those who are mentally insane and those who get their thrills out of random destruction.   American society pays a heavy price for youth gang violence and vandalism.    And there are the arsons who intentionally set fires, such as the those is southern California (October 2007) that destroyed thousand of homes, burned hundreds of thousands of acres of vegetation, and cost hundreds of millions of dollars.   We also need to include in this insanity file those who take guns into schools and businesses and simply murder anyone nearby. 

    "Resident" Bush :   Our so-called president is displaying characteristics of someone mentally unstable.   We say that based upon his behavior.   

1)  He stated a global-level  holy war with religiously insane, Islamic extremists.   

2)  He sent our military forces to invade an Islamic country under the guise of doing what his father could have completed with ease and simplicity in 1991.   (George Sr. could have removed Saddam Husseine  at a tiny fraction of the present costs -- costs in terms of money, lives lost, property destruction, political turmoil,  ally-alienation, and without starting a Global-level holy war with Islamic extremists.)

3)  He's promoting Disneyland economics and deficit spending that is about to cause and global-level economic catastrophe.   The prices of the products you buy (food, gasoline, etc.)  have not risen.   The value of the dollar has gone down.   (It now takes more dollars to buy the same product.)  This decrease in value is a direct function of the "Bush and Company" policy of deficit spending.    

4)   He is doing everything he can to increase the wealth of the wealthy and  to intentionally destroy of the American middle class.   Reference:  Voting for God ' 

5)   He is completely ignoring the most important and most pressing problem that has ever faced  humanity --Global Climate Change.   Actually he is promoting Global Climate Change   He's promoting  environmental destruction with his policies and practices.

There are four possible reasons why he is displaying this much insane-like behavior.   1)  He actually is mentally unstable.   2)  He's the front man for some diabolical madman or group of criminally insane madmen.  3)   He has been mentally programmed (secretly brainwashed) by someone or some group whose intention is to destroy human society.    4)  He is a Rapture '   believer and is intentionally  promoting the end of the world so that he and his fellow fundamentalist, born-again Christians can more quickly get into heaven to be with Jesus.   5)  If you can think of any additional possibilities, please  Contact Us . The most likely reason for his dysfunctional behavior is that he actually believes the Rapture Fairytale and is "helping God" to bring about the end of the world.** 

**  According to Kevin Phillips,  author of the book, "American Theocracy,"  forty-five percent of the true believers in fundamentalist Christianity in the United States believe that the rapture is coming very soon.  

**  Either George Jr. is a devout born-again believer or he's the front man for a skillfully executed, vote-getting fraud by pretending to be one.   In either case, his motivations are such that he should be removed from office.   At the very minimum, a study should be undertaken to determine what percentage of his supporters are Born-again, fundamentalist Christians and what percentage of them believe "The Rapture" is God's truth.

"Responding to the Bush Behavior:   Here's our suggestion: 

Mr. Bush and every other official   leading,  associated with,  or working for any organization dealing with terrorists needs to  be asked point blank and publicly,  "Do you believe in The Rapture?"   Because religious extremists believe that  lies are permissible for those working directly for God, all self-proclaimed born-again Christians should be required to place their hands on the Bible and swear that their denial is the truth.   Here's a sample oath:  
"I   _______ , swear under oath to God that if I lie under this oath, I realize the I turn my back on God and turn myself over to Satan to burn in hell forever.   I do not believe in 'the rapture.'    'The rapture' is a blasphemy of  God's truth."   

Because Mr. Bush claims to be a born-again Christian, if he says that he does not believe in "the rapture," that will bring serious questions about his credibility into the minds of his most ardent supporters,  those who do believe.   If he says he does believe in "the rapture,"  then his "war on terrorism" is a fraud -- a cover story while he secretly works to hasten the end of the world.

None of this makes for sustainable long-term living.   All of it spells grief, misery, and disaster on a mass, global level.  It's the de-evolution of humanity.

5)   Reversing the De-evolution of Humanity

How Do We Reverse De-evolution?     The first step is to become aware that Global Climate Change ' is real and that it's a serious problem.   By now, most people have that awareness.    The next critical phase is a large-scale change on consciousness -- to make people aware of the source of the problems -- to demonstrate that we have the power and the capacity to the make changes -- to show the pathway to making these changes.  

That's where the programs and suggestion on the TLC-Life-Center's Joy101.org website come in.   The Joy 101 website  proposes changes  and direct reader to  examples of change in action --- such as our project for Saving the Last of the Virgin Redwood Forests.   Unfortunately, for most people, the Redwoods project is still too big to be the starting point for consciousness change.  The believability aspect stretches many people too far out of their capacity to see the result.  

So in order to break a massive, global-level problem down into a bite size piece -- piece small enough to deal with, we are beginning with a focus on youth-gang violence and vandalism.   Most people have a vested interest in our success.  Here we are changing the consciousness of individuals.  

To see our logic in this, let's take this process back from the micro to the macro -- from the individual to the collective.

6)   From Micro Back to Macro

Why focus on youth gangs?   For Several reasons.  First, because the young people are going to pay the price for their parents and grandparent's follies.   They have the most to gain by the success of our projects and the most to lose by their failure.   

Second,  the youth-gang-focus is our entry way into the younger generation.   Our goals is to also awaken and to enlist thousands (perhaps millions) of young people that have nothing at all to do with gangs.

Third, every major change, no matter how huge or grand it is, is always done one step at a time.  Individuals make those changes.  

Fourth, by changing the consciousness and the awareness individuals, some of these people will join our program, and a few of them will become major players.   We will soon have a small group of young adults working toward the collective goal.   That small group will affects more and more others and a successful  small group will soon become a larger, successful collective.   We will then have enough people and enough financial support to initiate our next step -- the project for Saving the Last of the Virgin Redwood Forests.   

The success of the redwoods project will by international news.   It will forever change the way environmentalists approach polluters and environmental destroyers.   That change will make even bigger changes possible.    We will then be operating on a grand scale and doing so  in harmony with the thousand and hopefully millions of others working to  reverse Global climate change.
