Al Capone:  Al Capone was an obvious criminal.   As a result, he experienced much misery in his life and died young.   He created so much anger among the people that he had dedicated and highly skilled government agents (FBI)  after him with the intention of putting him in jail.   They succeeded.  

Joseph P. Kennedy:   Joseph P. Kennedy was brilliant at manipulating the rules of the society he lived and walked the line at the edge of  illegality.   He was wise enough to  never crossed the line into known criminal activity.   If he ever did cross that line, such as his alleged bootlegging during prohibition of the 1920's, nobody was ever able to prove it.  He actually made most of his money in the stock market using the technique called insider trading.  This was long before insider trading became a crime.  

He went on to become the father of the American Kennedy dynasty producing children (President John Kennedy, Senators Robert and Ted Kennedy)  that have dramatically changed the world we live in.  

Which Role model Are You Following?

There's Another Option.   You don't have to be a criminal to succeed in this society.   But if you insist on being a criminal, at least be a smart one.  And if you are a smart criminal,  you'll study the universal laws.   You'll learn the basic rules of life.   You learn how the system works and you'll learn how to manipulate it to your own advantage.  You'll know that you never, EVER,  commit a crime that results in people looking for the criminal with the intent of putting him in jail. ***1 

A Much Wiser Choice:   If you are wise, sooner or later, you'll realize that you can be honest, and ethical and still be a winner.  ***2      You can be a winner without the guilt.  Without the shame.  Without the fear of being "a nobody."   Without the fear of being separated from Creator/God.   Without any (more) time in jail.   Without destroying anything.   Without being a parasite and living of the life-blood of others.  And even without your baby-security-blanket which you carry around with you  in the form of a spray-paint can.   

An Example of What Not to Do  

Gang members have been roaming around San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles County, California) randomly punching holes in the tires of cars parked on the streets.   They gain nothing from this activity, except perhaps to temporarily  bolster their limp, make-believe manhood.   They have caused thousands of dollars in damages.   Pissed off hundreds of residents.   Destroyed countless auto and truck tires.   Produced a mountain of trash (in the form of destroyed tires)  that must be disposed of.   And they have police looking for them the intent of putting him in jail.   Those punching holes in auto tires are the  dumbest type of criminal.  

The only thing dumber than that is when they run around with guns killing each other in drive by shootings and leaving bloody corpses lying in the streets.   Al-Capone-style gangsters did that in the prohibition era of the 1920's over who had the right to sell illegal alcohol.   Today, they do this over who has the right to sell illegal drugs on this or that street corner.    Thousands of drug peddlers have been murdered.   Hundreds of thousands are or have been in jail.
